If you are looking for ways to take time off your next ultra, there are two things you should start with to take some easy time off your overall time!

1️⃣ Have a plan and a checklist in your drop bags and reduce your time at aid stations. It is EASY to spend 20, 30, 40 minutes at an aid station eating, chatting, looking over your pack, changing your socks, etc., but if you go in with a time limit and with a purpose, you’ll be in and out!

2️⃣ Learn to walk intentionally❗️Going from a 30min or 25min mile to a 20min mile is MUCH easier than going from a 12min mile to a 7min mile. Practice walking fast. Practice hiking efficiently. Practice walking when you are tired.

Both take a little bit of work and planning and can give you a big reward 🔥
